2010 Outlook | May 2010

2010 has been a great year for Abstract Empire. Three new series of Murals are online and available for a discounted commission. Collectors will also be notified about the upcoming 2011 appraisal. Abstract Empire is dedicated to pricing our fine art with concern to a works market value. With an annual collection appraisal, Abstract Empire can properly price new artwork, and track the value of older works. The 2011 appraisal will be assessed this spring and Abstract Empire collectors will be notified of new details regarding their collection.

Above the Horizon | Aug. 2009

Above the Horizon was a major accomplishment for Abstract Empire. Abstract Empire was given a collectors photo of their favorite sunset and was commissioned to create a custom mural in oil based off of the photograph. Our techniques fit perfectly with the project! We used a sand and gesso base for added texture, and sued oil glazing techniques to make the vibrant colors jump off the canvas. The mural has been installed in an Evanston, IL office space to the excitement of happy collecter!

Executive Chocolate | Jan. 2009

Executive Chocolate, a painting which was completed in 2005, has been installed in a collectors home in Chicago. The goal of executive chocolate was to create a classy, contemporary, city brand of painting in a rich, dark color scheme. Executive Chocolate was deliberately designed to blend in with high-end furniture, particularly dark leathers coaches and chairs commonly found in executive-style interiors.
